Minna no Touchoku-hyo (Everyone's Duty Roster) Terms of Service Last updated: December 21, 2025 (This is a courtesy translation. The Japanese version is the official text; in case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.) These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for providing the duty-roster creation and sharing app "Minna no Touchoku-hyo" (the "App") and the rights and obligations between us and users regarding use of the App. Users shall use the App upon agreeing to these Terms. Article 1 (Application) These Terms apply to all relationships between us and users concerning use of the App. Rules, guidelines, and notices that we post from time to time in the App or on our website (regardless of name) form part of these Terms. If these Terms conflict with the preceding items, these Terms prevail unless otherwise provided. Article 2 (Definitions) Terms used in these Terms are defined as follows. "User": an individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the App "Room": a room created to share a duty roster (identified by a password (PIN)) "Owner": the user who created a room "Member": a user who joined a room "Request information": requests for slots (each day, day/night shift, etc.): OK / Preferred / Difficult / Other work "Finalized roster": assignment results created based on the room's rules, request information, and so on "Swap simulation": a feature for trying out assignee swaps on the device against a finalized roster (a local feature of the App) Article 3 (Environment) Users shall prepare, at their own cost and responsibility, the device, OS, and network environment needed to use the App. Communication charges are borne by the user. Article 4 (Accounts and Authentication) The App may use authentication features (for example, Firebase Authentication) to identify users. Users shall manage their authentication credentials at their own responsibility and shall not allow third parties to use them. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate management, errors in use, or use by third parties (except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence). Article 5 (Rooms (PIN) and Sharing) Rooms are identified by a password (PIN). Because anyone who knows the PIN may be able to join the room, users shall manage PINs appropriately and avoid unnecessary sharing. Members agree that information necessary for duty-roster operation (display names, request information, finalized rosters, etc.) is displayed to and shared with other members within the room. Room management authority (changing settings, finalizing, etc.) belongs in principle to the owner, except as otherwise determined by us. Article 6 (Entering Requests and Creating Finalized Rosters) Users may enter request information within a room. The owner may create a finalized roster based on the room's settings (standby categories, rules, no-pair rules, etc.). A finalized roster is an "assignment result" based on the entered request information and settings; it does not guarantee medical judgment, compliance with labor laws, or the determination of employment conditions. Whether a roster can be edited after finalization follows the App's specifications (some designs do not allow changes after finalization). Article 7 (Swap Simulation) Swap simulation is a feature for considering assignee swaps on the device based on a finalized roster. Swap simulation results are, in principle, stored on the device; the finalized roster on servers such as Firestore is not changed automatically. If you apply swap simulation results to actual operations, agreements and procedures among members are the users' responsibility. Article 8 (PDF Export) Users may be able to export duty rosters, summaries, and so on from the App as PDFs. PDFs may contain information such as display names and assignments entered by users. When sharing or sending them, handle them at your own responsibility. Article 9 (Prohibited Acts) In using the App, users must not do any of the following. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals Acts that infringe the rights of the App, us, or third parties (copyright, privacy, etc.) Impersonating others or entering false information Improperly obtaining or sharing PINs, or letting unrelated third parties join a room Placing excessive load on the App's servers or network Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, tampering, analysis, and similar acts Any other act that we deem inappropriate Article 10 (Intellectual Property) Intellectual property rights in the programs, UI, designs, text, logos, and so on relating to the App belong to us or to legitimate rights holders. Users may use the App only within the scope of use in accordance with these Terms. Article 11 (Data Handling and Privacy) We handle user information in accordance with our separately provided "Privacy Policy". By using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to the contents of the Privacy Policy. Article 12 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service) We may change, add to, suspend, or discontinue the App without prior notice to users. We are not liable for damage incurred by users as a result (except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence). Article 13 (Disclaimer) We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, or continuity of the App. Information shared within rooms (requests, finalized rosters, display names, etc.) is entered by users, and we are not responsible for its content. The App may become unavailable due to network failures, device malfunctions, failures of third-party services (such as Firebase), OS updates, and so on. We are not liable for damage arising from this (except in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence). We are not involved in, and bear no responsibility for, disputes between users (PIN sharing, operation of duty assignments, lack of communication, etc.). Article 14 (Changes to the Terms) We may change these Terms as necessary. When changing these Terms, we will announce the change in the App or by other appropriate means. If a user uses the App after a change, the user is deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms. Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises between us and a user in connection with the App, the court with jurisdiction over our location shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance (if there is no such location, to be discussed separately).
